West Hampstead

Characterised by handsome period architecture, the NW6 suburb of West Hampstead with its village-like atmosphere, café culture and quirky independent shops is a big draw for homebuyers.

Until the end of the 19th century, the area was little more than a small village known as the “West End”, but then came three railways and the modern day neighbourhood of West Hampstead was born. Commuters can now take advantage of a wide selection of transport links, including: Thameslink and Silverlink trains and London Underground and Overground lines.

West Hampstead’s main thoroughfare, West End Lane is a popular destination with bars and restaurants that come alive at night. This vibrant mix has made the areas sought-after with a wide range of families and professionals looking to buy or rent.
